The iPhone 13 is set to automatically switch to Macro mode when the above conditions are met. However, since iOS 15.1, there is a Macro toggle in camera settings. If you accidentally turn it OFF, macro photos won't work!

Macro photos not available on iPhone?
As mentioned above, Macro mode is exclusive to the iPhone 13 lineup. If you have an older device, you won't be able to use this feature natively.
