How to Backup Your Android Phone

An easy solution is to use Google's backup service, as it is built into all Android devices. See how:
TO BACK UP YOUR SAMSUNG PHONE ON GOOGLE:
- Open it settings.
- Touch in Accounts and backup.
- Touch Click Back up your data. If prompted, enter your Google username and password.
- Touch Click Back up now.
On this screen, you can also choose when to do backup automatically from now on. If you only want to back up while using Wi-Fi to save battery and data, make sure Back up using mobile data is turned off.
TO BACK UP YOUR PIXEL SMARTPHONE ON GOOGLE:
- Open it settings.
- Tap System > Backup.
- Touch Click Back up now. If prompted, enter your Google username and password.
How to Backup Your iPhone to iCloud
Backing up your iPhone keeps your data and personal information safe in case your device is damaged, lost, or replaced.
ATTENTION: Before you begin, make sure you're connected to a strong Wi-Fi connection and have your Apple ID and password to sign in to iCloud®—if you need help, check out our guide on how to set up iCloud.
- Tap settings and then click the your name.
- Tap iCloud.
- Then scroll down to tap iCloud Backup.
- Touch Click Back up now.
Make sure to stay connected to your Wi-Fi network until the process is complete. To make sure the backup is complete:
Tap Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage and select your device. The backup should appear in the details with the backup time and size.
How to Backup iPhone to Computer
On a Mac running macOS® Mojave 10.14 or earlier or on a PC, you'll use iTunes® to back up your iPhone. See how:
- First open iTunes.
- Then connect your device to the computer with a cable. Enter your password if prompted.
- Then click on the iPhone icon in the top left corner.
- Finally click Summary > Back up now.
On a Mac running macOS Catalina 10.15 or later, you'll use Finder® to back up your iPhone. Follow these steps:
- First open the Finder.
- Then connect your device to the computer with a cable. Enter your password if prompted.
- Afterwards click on your device Locations in the left column.
- Likewise, click General > Back up all data from your iPhone to this Mac.
- Finally click Click Back up now.
