The iPad mini 6 hasn't been available for two weeks, but it's already suffering from another screen problem. After a problem “jelly scrolling” As previously flagged, some owners are experiencing discoloration and distortion on the tablet's LCD panel.
These issues were spotted by several sixth-generation iPad owners on Reddit. The same user also claims to have visited a local Apple store and was told by an employee to “be on the lookout for a recall” as “it wouldn’t be a surprise if there was one.” Of course, this is all just conjecture and certainly shouldn't be interpreted as confirmation that Apple is planning measures as dramatic as a recall to rectify the problem.
Fortunately, this doesn't appear to be a widespread problem. It's not something we noticed in our iPad mini 6 review, and while some owners on Reddit claim to have replicated the issue, several noted that it's not something they've experienced in their time with the device.

It's unknown whether Apple will resolve this latest display issue. However, a common theme is emerging with these display issues: they predominantly occur when the tablet is in portrait mode.
