How to Fix Apple Notes App Crashes on iOS 15
Most of the glitches mentioned above are minor and can be easily fixed using the tips given below:
1. Restart your device
Firstly, you must restart your iPhone or iPad. A fresh start can clear up any minor glitches that could cause Notes to crash.
You can turn off your iPhone or iPad and turn it back on. However, I recommend that you use the hard restart trick , to do everything in one step!
2. Open Notes From Spotlight
If Notes crashes when you try to open it, try opening a previously saved note through Spotlight search.
However, in iOS 15, Spotlight search is more powerful than ever. Therefore, there should be no problems locating a specific note. Meanwhile, tap on the result and the Notes app should open.
3. Reinstall Notes
So if Notes continues to crash at various stages, you should delete the app and reinstall it. I recommend you to use the offload feature. This will help you restore all data when reinstalling Notes:
- First open Settings and navigate to General -> iPhone Storage .
- Then scroll to Grades and tap it.
- However, use the option Offload App and confirm your actions
- Finally, tap Reinstall to get the Notes app back. Still fails?
