How to Create Free WhatsApp Stickers

Today we're going to learn something very fun and creative: how to make our own stickers to use on WhatsApp!

What do you need:

• A cell phone with internet access.
• The WhatsApp application installed.
• An application for making stickers. Let's use “Sticker Maker”, which is free and easy to use.

Step 1: Download the sticker app

1. Ask an adult to help you open the app store on your phone (Google Play Store for Android or App Store for iPhone).
2. Type “Sticker Maker” in the search bar and tap the magnifying glass to search.
3. Find the app called “Sticker Maker” and tap “Install”. Wait for it to download and install on your cell phone.

Step 2: Open the application and create a new sticker pack

1. Tap the “Sticker Maker” icon to open the app.
2. Tap “Create a new package” to get started.
3. Give your sticker pack a name, such as “Fun Stickers”.
4. Write your name under “Author” to show that you made it.

Step 3: Add your photos

1. Tap “Add sticker”.
2. You can choose a photo that is already on your phone or take a new photo. Ask for help choosing or taking a cool photo!
3. After choosing the photo, use your finger to crop the part of the photo you want to turn into a sticker. It's like drawing around what you like in the photo!

Step 4: Save and add to WhatsApp

1. After making your sticker, tap “Save”.
2. Add some more stickers if you want. WhatsApp needs at least 3 stickers to create a package.
