How to turn your iPhone into a scanner?

This new feature came out relatively quietly with the recent iOS 11 software update. yet They don't know they have this very useful tool in the palm of their hand; That's why our team decided to understand this new feature and how to use it!

How to use the new iOS document scanning feature:

Right after opening the Apple Notes app, select create a “New Note” in the bottom right corner of the screen.

Access the iOS Scan feature

Then press the camera or the “+” button. Once this is selected, a menu will appear – select “Scan Documents”.

Capture your document

Then place the document you want to scan on a flat, well-lit surface. Right away; Point your iPhone or iPad's camera at the document and take a photo. (You don't need to fill the entire screen with the document – we'll crop it in the next step.)

Crop your image

However, to crop your image to the correct size, simply drag each corner point that appears on the edges of your document.

Finish your scan

Finally, when you are satisfied with your document, select “Keep Scanning”. From here; you can continue scanning more documents or select “Save” if you are already done. 

* In fact if you want to adjust the color or its scanning; select the overlapping circles icon at the top of the screen. *

Sharing your document

However, when you are ready, select the “Share” button located in the upper right corner of the screen and choose which platform you want to transfer this scan to. 

Therefore This is also where you can turn your scan into a PDF file or even print your document.
