How to use WhatsApp web on your computer, tablet or notebook
First on your Smartphone Open Whatsapp tap the icon... Or the little configuration gear if it's an iPhone and choose linked devices
* Tap “Link a device”
*Go to web.whatsapp.com On the device where you want to access WhatsApp, in your preferred browser. It will even work with Safari on the iPad if you want to access it from your tablet.
* You will then see a QR code on the screen of your tablet or PC; point the phone's camera in order to link the two.
WhatsApp web will automatically launch on your computer and will remain active until you turn off your computer or phone
You can do this procedure on your own phone by returning to the linked devices screen in Settings and tapping the device and then “Sign Out”.
Or if you prefer, you can do this another way, by clicking on the three dots icon, located at the top of the conversation list and clicking on 'Exit'.
How to install the WhatsApp desktop app
In addition to logging in via the browser, WhatsApp also offers its desktop client for PC or Mac some extra features including full notification support for desktop conversations.
If you make daily use of WhatsApp Web, the most viable option may be; downloading it right now at whatsapp.com/download.
The download button is just one click to download the Installer file directly to your computer. After the download is complete, you must find the file (usually in the Downloads folder) and double-click it to install it.
How to use WhatsApp web on your computer, tablet or notebook?
Just follow the instructions on how to install the application on a Windows PC or Mac.
Once that's done, launch the WhatsApp desktop app and you'll eventually be greeted by the almost identical WhatsApp web interface.
As with the browser version, you will be; prompted to scan a QR code, then pick up your phone, open the settings menu and choose Linked Devices.
Simply point your phone's camera to read the QR Code displayed on your screen.
Just like the browser app, the desktop app will keep you signed in to WhatsApp until you opt out.
However, you can now chat with your friends on WhatsApp while on your PC or laptop, complete with the ability to send and receive media and type messages much faster on a PC or laptop keyboard.
