It's unclear for now whether the entire iPhone 13 lineup can pull up to the maximum 27W, but as detailed below; It doesn't hurt to use a higher wattage plug, since the iPhone is what determines how much power it gets.

Anyway, Apple used to ship an 18W USB-C power adapter with the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone models; 5W adapter with older iPhones.
However, starting in the fall of 2020 with the release of the iPhone 12/12 Pro, Apple stopped including an adapter; of power in the box with all new iPhones.
However, fast charging offers about 50% of battery in 30 minutes. But buying a new USB-C to Lightning cable; and an Apple 20W charging brick costs US$$40 if you need both.
Third-party options usually cost less, but what about using something you already have?
So the good news is that modern iPhones and iPads work with all Mac notebook USB-C chargers; even the 96W model that comes with the 16-inch MacBook Pro.
While it may seem risky at first, it's safe to use any of Apple's USB-C chargers; because the iPhone or iPad is what determines the energy it receives, not the charger. In fact, Apple even does its own testing with the entire range of its USB-C power adapters.
Note: Depending on the current capacity of your battery, your device will draw different levels of power. For example, a 10% battery will consume more power than an 80% battery.
Quickly charge iPhone and iPad with MacBook chargers?
However, Apple states that the following iOS devices are compatible with 18W, 20W, 29W, 30W, 61W, 87W, and 96W adapters for fast charging:
- iPhone 8/8 Plus and later
- 12.9-inch iPad Pro (1st generation and later)
- 11-inch iPad Pro (1st generation and later)
- iPad Pro 10.5 inches
- iPad Air 3rd generation and later
- iPad mini 5th generation and later
However, Apple notes that you can use its USB-C to Lightning cable or that “a USB-C power adapter; that supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD)” will also work like Anker’s Powerline series.
